🔨 Craft Glider — How to Get & Unlock Guide

The Craft Glider is a crafting in the progression category. The Glider is the #1 priority item after the tutorial. Unlocked by the Blacksmith. Transforms exploration and survivability.

Preparation

Before you start working toward the Craft Glider, make sure you have:

• Player Level: 1+ (higher is always better)
• Flame Altar: Level 1 minimum
• NPC: Blacksmith must be rescued and placed at your base
• Materials: Gather all 3 material types listed above before starting
• Food Buffs: Always have 3-4 food buffs active before challenging content

Step-by-Step Walkthrough

Step 1: Rescue Blacksmith (Ancient Vault north of Cinder Vault)

Step 2: Enter Shroud zones and cut down Shroud trees for Shroud Wood

Step 3: Kill Shroud enemies for Shroud Spores

Step 4: Craft String from plant fibers at Workbench

Step 5: Return to Blacksmith and craft the Glider

Tips & Tricks

• Place temporary Flame Altars near resource-rich areas or boss arenas for easy respawn.
• Cook food buffs before resource farming — the right buffs can double your yield per trip.
